Capital Relations were thrilled to advise the Manchester International Festival on community engagement and learning outcomes for the worlds first retrofit urban Vertical Farm.
The project was launched at MIF11 on Sunday, following an inspiring talk and Q&A with Dickson Despommier, international expert on food futures. You can watch the Alpha Farm video, produced by Creative Concern and shown at the the festival here.

I love hanging out with Alasdair Rawsthorne. It’s rare not to learn something geekily fascinating over a coffee or on a sneaky trip to chill factore. His ideas are very much in the future but he has an interesting history too.
